Top political brass of Nepal expresses grief over loss of life in Gen-Z protests, condemns mob violence

Kathmandu, Sep 12 (UNI) Members from Nepal's top political brass today expressed profound grief over the loss of life in the Gen-Z protests, and sent condolences to their loved ones.
They also condemned the wave of mob violence, vandalism, arson – specifically against its political structures such as the Parliament and the Supreme Court – which followed, and the general destruction of public property.
In a joint statement, House Speaker Dev Raj Ghimire and National Assembly Chair Narayan Dahal paid tribute to the young people who died and wished a swift recovery to the injured, according to Nepal News.
