Telangana Postal Dept. urges state govt to provide space for BOs in Gram Panchayats

Hyderabad, Mar 13 (UNI) Telangana Postal Circle Chief Postmaster General (CPMG) PVS Reddy on Thursday urged the state government to provided space to accommodate Branch Post Offices (BOs) in Gram Panchayat Buildings to enhance accessibility and contribute to the effective implementation of Government schemes particularly in rural, tribal, LWE and underserved communities.
Dr Reddy who met Chief Secretary A Santhi Kumar at Dr BR Ambedkar Telangana State Secretariat here for strengthening Citizen-Centric Postal Services in the state, apprised her of various activities the Postal Department is undertaking for the common benefit of rural populace of Telangana.
During the meeting, Dr.Reddy said in this regard, the directions of MoS, Rural Development and Communications were brought to the notice of the Chief Secretary.
