Telangana Min lays foundation stone for Oil Palm processing unit

Mahbubabad, Aug 29 (UNI) Errabelli Dayakar Rao, the Panchayat Raj Minister of Telangana, marked a significant milestone on Tuesday as he laid the foundation stone for an oil palm processing unit at Gopal Giri in the Thorruru Mandal of this district.

Addressing the gathering during the ceremony, the Minister emphasized that the state government is actively promoting oil palm cultivation with an eye on future demands. Notably, substantial efforts are being undertaken to expand the cultivated area by providing subsidies to farmers. At present, Mahabubabad district hosts oil palm cultivation across 6,535 acres.
