Sinhgad Institutes collaborates with Google Cloud: now Authorized Google Cloud Facilitator

Pune, May 5 (UNI) Sinhgad Institutes has collaborated with Google Cloud to offer the Google Cloud Ready Facilitator program, a Google Cloud initiative designed to help students kick start a career in cloud and get hands-on practice with Google Cloud’s platform, a statement said on Wednesday.

Smt. Kashibai Navale College of Engineering, SKNCOE, Vadgaon Campus, is now Authorized Google Cloud Facilitator, Department of Computer Engineering of SKNCOE Vadgaon initiated the process to be a part of this reputed cloud ready training program.
The Institute stated that It is a proud moment for Sinhgad Institutes to be counted amongst the few renowned engineering colleges who have been listed as Authorized Google Cloud Facilitator.
Through this program students of Sinhgad Institutes can become Google Cloud Facilitators and not only gain in-depth knowledge about Google Cloud technology but also enable others to do so. The program introduces students to cloud computing, cloud-native application development, big data and machine learning using Google Cloud and also help to build their leadership skills.
Persistent efforts of Dr. Parikshit N. Mahalle, Head of Department of Computer Engineering and Prof. Pramod Patil, Assistant Professor along with student facilitators Abhijeet Kahore and Satya Narayan Sahoo on behalf of Sinhgad Institutes SKNCOE, Computer Department Vadgaon brought success to this laudable initiative.

The students will get live training by Google Trainers on Cloud Architect and Hands on Labs also. The students will get International certification and recognition by Google. Skill Badges, Goodies will be offered by Google to certified students. The skill badges and certification earned by students have International Recognition

Sinhgad Institutes SKNCOE, Vadgaon will receive future offers from Google Training Programs.
Dr. Mahale expresses heartfelt gratitude to the motivation and support from Founder President Prof. M. N. Navale Sir, the entire Management of Sinhgad Institutes, Principal and Vice-Principal of SKNCOE and his colleagues. He says, “Till today we have successfully enrolled 500+ SKNCOE students to this program and we shall enroll many more in future. As of now the number of students enrolled is 570, new registrations 110 and number of badges earned is 100. We will post much higher figures on student achievements on this platform in the near future.”
Says Abhijit Kahore, one of the student facilitators, “When I wanted to prepare for a career in cloud computing, I had no idea what to do, how to discover new learning opportunities. Thanks to Sinhgad Institutes, my College SKNCOE and my wonderful Professors for developing this program and for connecting me. It is a proud moment for me. I am now ready to support other students as a Cloud Facilitator.” Satya Narain Sahoo also feels very proud and privileged.
