Mumbai, Nov 13 (UNI) The BSE Sensex continued to slide on Wednesday too, tumbling down 422 pts at 78,253 in opening session as selling was seen across the board amid weak global cues.
The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) slipped 127 pts at 23,756.45.
The NSE registered days high and low at 23,873.60 and 23,679.35
pts respectively.
The Sensex registered intra day high at 78,690.02 and 78,131.36 pts.
The Mid cap fell 1.28 pc and Small cap by 1.63 pc.
In 30 scrips, 6 advanced, 23 declined while 1 remained unchanged.
The losers were M& M by 3.34 pc to Rs 2804.65, Tata Steel by 2.01 pc to Rs 141.25, JSW Steel by 1.57 pc to Rs 941.80, Maruti Suzuki by 1.31 pc to Rs 11000 and TCS by 1.23 pc to Rs 4144.20.
The gainers were NTPC by 1.57 pc to Rs 386, Bharti Airtel by 1.01 pc to Rs 1571.35 and Tata Motors by 0.57 pc to Rs 789.40.
