Nationwide opens first international campus in Hyderabad, to expand global operations

Hyderabad, Jul 8 (UNI) US-based Nationwide, one of the largest and strongest diversified insurance and financial services organizations, on Wednesday announced the opening of its first international campus, Nationwide Global Services Center Private Limited, in Hyderabad.
The new centre, named Nationwide India, will join the company’s existing locations in Columbus, Ohio; Des Moines, Iowa; and Scottsdale, Arizona, as part of its strategy to expand operations globally, the company said in a release here.
Vikas Jaswal will lead the Hyderabad campus and oversee operations, recruitment, and capability development in India.
The company said Nationwide India will play a key role in its global 24/7 operating model by building critical capabilities, supporting business functions, and accelerating innovation, decision-making, and productivity across the organisation.
Telangana Minister for Information Technology and Industries Duddilla Sridhar Babu welcomed Nationwide’s expansion into Hyderabad, stating that the city has emerged as a leading destination for banking, financial services, insurance, and capital markets innovation.
"Nine of the world's top ten BFSI giants are driving innovation and advanced product engineering from Hyderabad," Sridhar Babu said, adding that the entry of Nationwide further strengthens Telangana’s growing ecosystem of Global Capability Centres.
Nationwide India’s Managing Director Vikas Jaswal said Hyderabad’s skilled talent pool and established technology ecosystem made it an ideal location for expanding the company’s global workforce.
"The Hyderabad campus enables Nationwide to meet increased business demand, growth goals, and expand our global operational capabilities," Jaswal said.
The company said the centre will create career opportunities while supporting engineering, digital, and business capabilities.
Nationwide, which is entering its 100th year of operations, said its 2025 financial performance marked its fifth consecutive year of record growth.
It is one of the largest diversified insurance and financial services organisations in the United States, offering products across insurance, retirement plans, annuities, mutual funds, and other financial services.
