Nationwide ED searches expose systematic Rs. 700 Crore GST fraud

New Delhi Sep 12 (UNI) The Enforcement Directorate (ED) today said it recently carried out search operations at ten premises across Arunachal Pradesh, Delhi, Haryana, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana in connection with a multi-crore fake Input Tax Credit (ITC) fraud case.
The action was initiated by its Itanagar zone branch.
The ED’s case is based on a complaint lodged against Amit Traders, Guwahati, which was found to be non-existent at its declared address.
