Michaung Cyclone : 12 relief camps set up for rain affected victims in AP district

Eluru(Andhra Pradesh) Dec 4 (UNI) West Godavari district Collector P Prashanthi on Monday said that 12 relief camps have been set up for the rain-affected victims in Mogaltru and Narasapuram mandals in this district due to the Cyclone Michaung which is likely to make landfall between Nellore and Machilipatnam, close to Bapatla during forenoon on Tuesday.
The Collector instructed the officials to take all steps to avoid loss of life and property due to the cyclone.
Prashanthi held a meeting with the officials and reviewed the measures being taken to face the cyclone threat in the district.

Hyderabad, Nov 8 (UNI) A flight from Hyderabad to Hanoi, Vietnam, was delayed for several hours due to technical problems, leaving numerous passengers stranded at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) since Friday night. Flight VN 984, which was originally scheduled to depart at 11:55 PM on Friday, did not take off until 9:00 am on Saturday.
