Manipur gymnasts team working hard for Uttarakhand National Games

Imphal, Jan 20 (UNI): A 13-member Manipur Gymnastic team besides another Technical official selected from the state will participate in the 38th National Games to be held in Uttarakhand from January 28 to February 14 for which the state Gymnastic team have also initiated intensive coaching sessions.
“We’ve also started our intensive coaching session to have better performances in the upcoming national games,” says Gymnastic Technical official Yumnam Ranjan. “Only four gymnasts qualified in the last National Games wherein we secured two gold medals in Aerobic Gymnastics. But this time, eight gymnasts qualified by the Federation considering their performances and we’re expecting better results with the blessing of the almighty.”
Apart from state Technical official Ranjan, Waikhom Inaocha Singh has been selected as Manipur team manager while Ch Prithibilal Singh (WAG) and N Ranjita (Aerobic)have been named as team Coaches.
