LPL Financial Opens Global Capability Center in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Feb 4 (UNI) LPL Financial, a leading U.S.-based wealth management firm, on Wednesday announced the launch of its Global Capability Center (GCC) in Hyderabad and the appointment of Ramesh Kaza as head of the new operation.
The Hyderabad GCC will play a key role in expanding LPL Financial's global technology and operations capabilities, focusing on advanced financial technology platforms, product development, data and analytics, risk management, and AI-driven solutions, the company said in a release here..
The company said Hyderabad was chosen for its deep talent pool in financial services and technology, robust infrastructure, and strong business continuity ecosystem.
Over the next three to five years, LPL Financial plans to create hundreds of jobs at the center.
The GCC is currently hiring engineers and technologists across areas such as network security, core infrastructure, AI engineering, data platforms, middleware, and software development.
A Fortune 500 company, LPL Financial Holdings Inc. supports more than 32,000 financial advisors and about 1,200 financial institutions, managing nearly $2.4 trillion in assets for approximately 8 million clients in the United States.
Kaza joins LPL Financial from State Street, where he most recently served as Chief Information Officer for India.
Earlier, he spent nearly 16 years at Bank of America in senior global technology leadership roles and has also held strategic positions at Fidelity Investments and GE Capital.
"The Hyderabad center will leverage the city's exceptional talent to build integrated teams focused on next-generation technology that sets new standards in financial services," said Greg Gates, Chief Technology and Information Officer at LPL Financial.

An active community leader, Kaza has served as chairperson of United Way of Hyderabad and currently works with industry and law enforcement as Secretary General of the Society for Cyberabad Security Council.
"It's an honor to join LPL at this milestone moment," Kaza said. "The Hyderabad GCC will unlock new growth opportunities and help deliver faster, more sophisticated solutions for our advisors and their clients."
