Kuwait expels two Iranian diplomats after strikes, citing "sovereignty violations"

Kuwait City, Jun 3 (UNI) The Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry on Wednesday declared two Iranian diplomats “persona non grata” in response to Iranian drone and ballistic missile strikes on Kuwaiti territory.
In a statement posted on the social media platform X, the ministry said it summoned the acting charge d’affaires of the Iranian embassy in Kuwait and delivered a formal protest note. It also announced a decision to reduce the size of the Iranian diplomatic mission.
The two diplomats have been ordered to leave Kuwait within 24 hours, according to the statement.
