Israel warns of military escalation in south Lebanon against Hezbollah, urges residents to evacuate

Tel Aviv/Beirut, April 8 (UNI) Israel warning further escalation against Hezbollah forces in southern Lebanon, issued fresh evacuation orders to civilians in the area on Wednesday, warning them to quickly evacuate even as Tel Aviv has entered into a highly volatile, and uneasy ceasefire agreement with Iran.
IDF spokesman Avichay Adraee releasing an "urgent warning" to residents in parts of the city of Tyre, urged them to leave immediately as operations are set to intensify in its parallel war against the Iran-sponsored Islamic militant group.
"Hezbollah activity compels the IDF to operate against it. The IDF does not wish to harm you. For your safety, we urge you to evacuate your homes at once and move north toward the Al-Zahrani River," he said, identifying specific neighbourhoods at risk.
