Hyd: IDRBT inks MoU with IIIT, Hyderabad to strengthen BFSI domain

Hyderabad, Dec 21 (UNI) The Institute for Development and Research in Banking Technology (IDRBT) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad (IIIT-H), to strengthen collaboration in academics, research, and innovation in the Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) domain, a release stated on Sunday.
The MoU was signed on Saturday under the leadership of Prof. Sandeep Shukla, Director, IIIT-Hyderabad, and Dr. Deepak Kumar, Director, IDRBT.
The signing ceremony was held in the presence of Prof. H. Krishnamurthy, Chief Research Scientist (Retd.), IISc Bengaluru, who is also a member of the Governing Council of both institutions.
Under this partnership, both institutions will jointly contribute to academics, research, training, student exchange, and skill development, with a focus on the integration, adoption, and effective absorption of emerging technologies in the BFSI sector.
The collaboration also aims to explore initiatives for public welfare, leveraging the combined reach and capabilities of both institutions.
