HAU training institute accredited by Agriculture Skill Council of India

Hisar, Jul 15 (UNI) Saina Nehwal Institute of Agricultural Technology Training & Education of Chaudhary Charan Singh, Haryana Agricultural University has been made an authorised centre of Agriculture Skill Council of India (ASCI), to award certificate/diploma of skill development in 19 different disciplines.
Announcing this, the Vice-Chancellor Prof K P Singh said that in any country special emphasis is given to unemployed youth, farmers and women mainly for skill development programmes. At the same time, the skills and knowledge are two inspirational forces for the economic and social development of the country. The countries are really ahead who have achieved a high level of skill. This golden opportunity will benefit us only when our people, especially young people are healthy, educated and skilled.
He said India is considered as a country of youth in which the number of young people aged between 18 and 35 years is 65 per cent of the country's population. This percentage is highest in the world. By developing their skills India can be brought forward in economic development.
