Greendigo partners with Dia Mirza

Mumbai, Sep 29 (UNI) Greendigo, a sustainability-driven brand of organic baby clothing, said it has partnered with actor, producer, UNEP Goodwill Ambassador and SDG advocate Dia Mirza.
Greendigo combines practical designs with organic materials and sustainable processes to create one-of-a-kind, 100 per cent carbon neutral clothes that are loved by children and adults alike.
Dia, who feels this credo is in perfect harmony with her own eco-friendly and environmentally conscious lifestyle, has stepped in as a Strategic Investor and Brand Ambassador for the company.
She joins the Greendigo family as a parent, an advocate for the planet, and an investor, with the primary goal of delivering the company’s powerful, heartfelt and purposeful message to a broader audience.
''We are thrilled to have Dia on board in a multi-pronged capacity,” says Barkha Bhatnagar Das, co-founder, Greendigo. “Our vision is uncompromisingly focused upon ensuring that organic clothing for kids becomes normative rather than an exception. With someone as relatable, credible and successful as Dia as our ambassador, we have no doubt that our message will reach far and wide.''
With this partnership, Greendigo hopes to create awareness about the harmful effects of toxic chemicals that are found in conventional baby clothing.
Greendigo also hopes to leverage the wide reach of Dia Mirza’s diverse platforms to push for a mindful shift to organic clothing and nursery essentials that focus on comfort, quality, safety, functionality and aesthetics.
Dia said: ''I believe that the future of our children is directly dependent on the choices that we as parents make today. What I love most about Greendigo is that it resonates with me as a parent and as an earth citizen. I have been speaking for the planet for a long time but raising a child has made me even more determined to ensure environmental wellbeing.
"This is why I am very happy and proud to support a brand that shares my mission to protect Mother Earth with its internationally certified products, plastic-free packaging, zero carbon emission operations and alignment with all 17 UN SDGs.''
