New Delhi, Nov 29 (UNI) The government on Friday emphasised that it has taken several steps to address risks posed by online gaming and potential harms like addiction among children.
In a written reply in the Rajya Sabha, Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology Jitin Prasada said, “The Government is cognizant of the risks posed by online gaming and potential harms like addiction.
The policies of the Government of India are aimed at ensuring a safe, trusted and accountable Internet for its users.”

Delhi suspends physical classes for Nursery to Class V amid severe air pollution

New Delhi, December 15 (UNI) In view of the prevailing severe air pollution and persistently high Air Quality Index (AQI) levels, the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi has decided to discontinue physical classes for students from Nursery to Class V with immediate effect and until further orders.
According to directions issued by the Directorate of Education, all government, government-aided and unaided private recognised schools in Delhi will conduct classes for students from Nursery to Class V exclusively in online mode during this period.
