FTCCI hosts programme on safe, sustainable industrial operations in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Apr 8 (UNI): The Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry organised an industry programme on Safe and Sustainable Operations – Role of Cross-Functional Leadership here on Thursday.
The programme focused on the growing importance of safety and sustainability in today’s evolving industrial and business environment, emphasising the need for cross-functional leadership and collaboration across organisations.
According to a release, the session highlighted the significance of integrating safety and sustainability practices across departments to build resilient and responsible organisations.
The programme featured expert addresses by Y Mohan Babu, Director of Factories, Government of Telangana, and D. Narender, Joint Chief Environmental Engineer, Telangana Pollution Control Board.
The speakers shared insights on regulatory frameworks, industry best practices and strategies for strengthening organisational resilience and responsible business operations.
Key themes discussed during the session included strengthening leadership in safety and sustainability, integrating sustainability culture across departments, adopting industry best practices, and building future-ready organisations.
The event also facilitated interactive knowledge-sharing sessions with domain experts.
The initiative was aimed at senior and middle-level managers, environment, health and safety professionals, and cross-functional teams including production, ESG, utilities, warehouse, quality and HR personnel committed to ensuring safe and compliant operations.
