Foreign medical specialists from UK, China to arrive in Dhaka for treating former Bangladeshi PM Khaleda Zia

Dhaka, Dec 2 (UNI) Two foreign specialist medical teams are expected to arrive in Dhaka on Dec 3 to assist in the treatment of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia, who remains under intensive care at Evercare Hospital.
According to the BNP media cell, a team of specialists from the UK is scheduled to land on Wednesday morning, followed by a Chinese medical delegation in the evening. Both teams will coordinate with the ex-PM's existing medical board.
BNP Standing Committee member and Khaleda Zia's personal physician, AZM Zahid Hossain, said the move follows the board's recommendation to seek further international expertise.
