Fake auto parts syndicate busted in Karol Bagh; two arrested, goods worth Rs 30 lakh seized

New Delhi, April 14 (UNI) Delhi Police Crime Branch has busted a counterfeit automobile spare parts racket that was operating in Karol Bagh by arresting two accused and seizing fake goods worth Rs 25–30 lakh, an officer said on Tuesday.
According to the police, the duo has been identified as Bharat (27) and Rajender Singh (28), both natives of Rajasthan and currently residing in Karol Bagh, who were held following an operation conducted on Sunday based on information received.
The police have registered an FIR under the relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the Copyright Act.
