England Women crush South Africa by 10 wickets

Guwahati, Oct 3 (UNI) England Women secured a dominant 10-wicket victory over South Africa Women in the fourth match of the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025 at Barsapara Cricket Stadium here today.
Electing to bowl after winning the toss, England restricted South Africa to a mere 69 runs before completing a comfortable chase of 73 runs without losing a wicket.
Chasing a modest target, England’s openers Tammy Beaumont and Amy Jones (not out 40) guided the side to victory in 14.1 overs, ensuring a clinical finish with 73 without loss. Beaumont contributed 21 runs, combining steady accumulation with smart strike rotation, while Jones anchored the innings with a composed 40. Extras played a notable role in the low-scoring game, with South Africa conceding 12 runs.
