Death toll rises to 51 in Nepal in wake of Gen Z protests

Kathmandu, Sep 12 (UNI) The toll in Nepal's deadly Gen-Z protests has gone up to 51, including three police officers and one Indian woman, Nepal Police said today.
This is a marked rise from the initial tally of 19, with the fatalities spanning nationwide from Kathmandu Valley to other districts.
On the first day of protests, 21 people were killed, including nine inmates. Post-mortem examinations have begun at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH).
