Congress launches 21-day protest over restoration of full statehood to J&K, to observe Article 370 abrogation anniversary as black day

Srinagar, July 31 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) president Tariq Karra today announced a 21-day protest campaign starting August one to demand full restoration of J&K statehood.
The protest call will include a hunger strike and the observance of black day on August five — marking six years since the abrogation of Article 370 and the bifurcation of the erstwhile state into two Union Territories.
Calling August five as the "blackest day in the history of Jammu and Kashmir", Karra said the Centre had "unilaterally snatched" the constitutional rights of the people of J&K.
