Canara Bank hands over Rs 1,838 cr dividend cheque to Govt for FY24

New Delhi, July 10 (UNI) Public sector Canara Bank on Wednesday handed over a dividend cheque of Rs 1,838 crore for the financial year 2023-24 to Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
The cheque was handed over by K Satyanarayana Raju, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of Canara Bank, it said in a statement.
This dividend payout reflects Canara Bank's unwavering commitment to its stakeholders and its strong financial health, driven by strategic initiatives and sound banking practices. The bank continues to play a pivotal role in supporting India's economic growth and development through its extensive range of financial products and services.
The MD & CEO stated "It is an honour to present this dividend cheque to the Hon’ble Finance Minister, Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman.
