All 14 accused acquitted in Gyanvapi dispute case after 21 years

Varanasi, Jun 3 (UNI) A total of 14 accused, including senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders, were acquitted by the MP-MLA court on Wednesday in the 2005 Gyanvapi dispute case.
Gulshan Kapoor, who was acquitted in the case, explained that a minor altercation over Maulana Batin's security check during Friday prayers on September 2, 2005, during the Samajwadi Party government, gradually escalated into a violent riot, resulting in significant damage to government property.
During the Samajwadi Party regime, several innocent people were implicated in the investigation.
