'Little Five' ropes in Rain Spencer & Ariana Greenblatt in pivotal characters

Los Angeles, July 7 (UNI) "The Summer I Turned Pretty" actress Rain Spencer and "Barbie" famed actress Ariana Greenblatt is set to join the cast of "Little Five".
Helmed by Ian Samuels, scripted by Gillian Williams and mounted by Anne Hathaway's production house Somewhere Pictures and Pigsaus Pictures.
Details regarding the cast and storyline are yet to be disclosed.
Set against the backdrop of Indiana University in the early 1980s and inspired by the iconic Little 500 bicycle race, Little Five follows four unlikely young women who come together to chase one impossible dream. As they fight for a place in one of America’s most storied collegiate sporting traditions, they discover that true greatness isn’t achieved alone, and that changing history sometimes begins with a single team, reports DEADLINE.
Rooted in real-life events, the drama aims to capture the cultural energy of a defining period, exploring how a generation of determined women challenged conventions and left an enduring imprint on college sports.
Spencer's performance in "Good Girl Jane" earned her the Best Performance award at the Tribeca Festival, further cementing her reputation as a rising star. Greenblatt is best known for her performances in "Barbie" and "Now You See Me: Now You Don’t". UNI NST CDS
