Yusuf Pathan may join anti-terror outreach: BJP MP

Bengaluru, May 19 (UNI) Amid reports that the Trinamool Congress (TMC) has withdrawn the name of Yusuf Pathan from the all-party delegation travelling to key partner countries as part of India’s global outreach against terrorism, BJP Rajya Sabha MP Lehar Singh Siroya on Monday said he believed the former cricketer might still join the visit.
"I think there has been a communication gap between Mamata (Banerjee) and the central government. I have information that Yusuf Pathan will probably go," Siroya told reporters here.
He emphasised that participation in the anti-terror initiative was important for all political parties and said it would be unfortunate if any leader missed the opportunity.
