YSRCP to boycott Graduate MLC Election in AP

Vijayawada, Nov 8 (UNI) The Principal Opposition in Andhra Pradesh, the YSR Congress Party has announced its decision to boycott the Graduate MLC election scheduled to be held on November 28, citing the coalition TDP-Jana Sena-BJP government’s lack of democratic integrity and fairness.

Speaking to the media at the party central office here on Friday, the YSRCP leaders including former Ministers Perni Venkatramaiah Nani and Ambati Rambabu, stated that they would abstain from voting, expressing disapproval of the current administration’s approach to governance. They slammed that the government has failed to maintain law and order, with over 100 crimes against women reported in recent months without any substantial response.
