Youth stabbed in wedding party after dispute over choice of song

Chhapra, Apr 30 (UNI) In a tragic turn of events during a wedding, a youth from the bride's family was stabbed following a dispute over the choice of a song at Takniwas Dewaria village under Rivilganj police station area in Saran district of Bihar on Tuesday night.
Police said that on the wedding night, a music party was performing tunes of Hindi film songs. However, some people from the groom's side demanded a particular song to be played, which the music party rejected infuriating the family members of the groom.
A member of the groom's side stabbed Rohit Gupta, who was from the bride's family, causing serious injuries to him. Gupta was immediately rushed to a local hospital, police added.
