Youth lynched in gang rivalry in East Champaran

Motihari (Bihar), March 12 (UNI) A youth was lynched under Lakhaura police station area in East Champaran district on Thursday, as a result of a long-standing tensions between two groups of the area.
As per the police, the tensions turned into violence on Thursday and a youth named Devender Sahni was brutally attacked by the rival group using lathis. He succumbed to his injuries later on.
The rival group was led by Mukesh Sahni, the police said. The two gangs were involved in many criminal activities in the area and the rivalry was primarily for supremacy of the gangs.
