Youth beaten to death by unidentified persons in Jaunpur

Jaunpur (UP), May 19 (UNI) A 32-year-old youth was beaten to death by unidentified persons in the Madiyahun area of Jaunpur district here in Uttar Pradesh on Monday, police sources said.
Police sources said that Abhishek Tiwari alias Soni, a resident of Rajmalpur Usri under Madiyahun police station area, was called by some unidentified persons at around 5 pm near Hanuman Garhi temple located at the northern end of the village.
"On reaching there, the attackers murdered the youth by repeatedly hitting him with a hockey stick and a rod. When the youth stopped breathing, the accused fled, leaving the body on the spot," they said.
