Yogi visits Kashi Vishwanath temple, offers prayers for public welfare

Varanasi, Feb 15 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday offered prayers at the Kashi Vishwanath temple during his one-day visit performing the traditional Shodashopachara Puja in the sanctum sanctorum and prayed for the well-being of the people.
During his visit, the CM greeted devotees on the temple premises and interacted warmly with children, affectionately talking to them and even offering chocolates. In a heartwarming moment, he shook hands with a child who reached out to him. However, due to the massive crowd of devotees, he postponed his planned visit to the Kal Bhairav temple.
Before reaching Sangam, he boarded the Vivekananda Cruise from Namo Ghat and travelled to Gangadwar. From there, he proceeded to the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, where he offered prayers and inspected the ghats. After completing the rituals, he returned to Namo Ghat via cruise and attended a public event.
