Yatnal slams BJP leaders over 'cozy ties' with Cong

Vijayapura, Sep 11 (UNI) Suspended BJP MLA Basanagouda Patil Yatnal today launched a blistering attack on his party’s leadership in Karnataka, alleging there is no effective opposition in the state due to a "cozy relationship" between senior BJP and Congress leaders.
Speaking to the media, Yatnal accused senior BJP leaders Vijayendra Yediyurappa and R Ashoka of failing to protect Hindu activists, stating that a friendly relationship with the ruling Congress has weakened the party's presence in the state.
"Unfortunately, there is no opposition in Karnataka; everyone is united," Mr Yatnal said. He alleged, "At night, children of 'The Revered' (B S Yediyurappa) eat at D K Shivakumar's house, and in the morning, they have their breakfast at Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s residence. They do not have the courage to speak up."
