Former Maine Governor and conservative Republican urges federal administration to not deport relative

Augusta, Sep 24 (UNI) Former Maine Governor Paul LePage has called on federal immigration authorities to halt the deportation of his son's father-in-law, saying the man should be allowed to remain in the US as he has a valid work permit. LePage, a conservative Republican running for a seat in the US House of Representatives, made immigration and border policy a central part of his campaign.
