Washington, Sep 19 (UNI) The US has warned allies that deliveries of key missile systems could be delayed by several years as depleted weapons stocks and production bottlenecks caused by the Iran war put pressure on American supplies, Bloomberg reported, citing people familiar with the matter. The shortages have also hit European efforts to provide Ukraine with urgently needed air-defence ammunition, according to the report. Germany has asked Washington to accelerate deliveries of Tomahawk cruise missiles and ground-based Typhon launchers, but Raytheon is unlikely to fulfil the order within five years because of depleted stocks, Bloomberg reported.
