Belgrade, Sep 28 (UNI) Serbia's President Aleksandar Vučić has resigned from his post in a bid to assume premiership of the nation after nearly two years of student-led protests ahead of the country's October 25 parliamentary election. Vučić, who was serving his second and final five-year presidential period, submitted his resignation on Sunday, several months before his term was set to expire.
