Belem (Brazil), Nov 15 (UNI) To further enhance the renewable energy sector, governments and financial institutions across various nations have come together to endorse new grid financing principles aimed at unlocking the potential of multilateral development banks (MDBs) and climate capital to aid in the advancement of power systems in emerging economies.
At a high-level ministerial meeting in Belem today in COP30, the Utilities for Net Zero Alliance (UNEZA) announced a remarkable increase in energy transition investment commitments, raising them by over 25% to nearly USD 148 billion annually.
