Brussels, Oct 22 (UNI) The European Parliament on Thursday called on the European union to consider deploying a naval operation in the Black Sea following deadly attacks on civilian merchant vessels and repeated violations of Romanian airspace, blaming Russia for escalating tensions in the region. Lawmakers adopted a resolution by 432 votes to 52, with 88 abstentions, condemning what they described as a pattern of Russian escalation targeting civilian shipping and threatening maritime security.
