Iran receives US response to Hormuz proposal through Qatar

Tehran, Sep 30 (UNI) Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has received the US response to a proposal conveyed through Qatari mediation, government spokeswoman Fatemeh Mohajerani said Wednesday. Mohajerani did not disclose the contents of Washington's response or indicate what steps Tehran might take next. Mohajerani said that Araghchi has briefed the cabinet regarding his meetings with European countries, Persian Gulf states and other countries and talks at the UN, including Iran's conditions for reopening the Strait of Hormuz, which were conveyed to the US side through mediators.
