World's largest indoor ski resort opens in Shanghai

Shanghai, Sep 6 (UNI) The Shanghai L+SNOW Indoor Skiing Theme Resort, which contains the world's largest indoor ski facility, went operational in Shanghai on Friday.
The integrated sports-entertainment-tourism resort is one of the key cultural and tourism projects at the Lin-gang Special Area of China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone. The facility spans about 350,000 square meters.
Its indoor ice-and-snow theme park alone covers 98,828.7 square meters, making it the world's largest indoor ski facility. The park features a vertical drop of nearly 60 meters indoors, with three professional ski slopes totaling nearly 1,200 meters in length, as well as a snow entertainment area.
