Women Journalists' Pen Should Continue to Shine for the Common People: Mayor Manjusha Nagpure

Pune, Mar 8 (UNI) Women media professionals are standing shoulder to shoulder with men and fighting strongly against injustice, said Mayor Manjusha Nagpure on the occasion of International Women's Day.
She expressed hope that the pen of women journalists will always continue to shine for the welfare of the common people and serve as an example of gender equality.
Women journalists who have made notable contributions to the field of journalism were honoured with the 'Asha Award' by Swanand Social Federation, Kohinoor Group, and Samvad Pune. The award ceremony was held at Bal Gandharva Rangmandir.
