Woman found murdered near Delhi railway station

New Delhi, Nov 16 (UNI) The body of a middle-aged woman was discovered near the Adarsh Nagar Railway Station on Sunday, prompting the Delhi Police to launch a murder investigation.
The police were alerted after a Government Railway Police (GRP) staff member from the Sabzi Mandi area reported a body in the shrubbery behind the station. The initial assessment suggests the victim was between 40 and 45 years of age.
According to a senior police officer, the woman, who is believed to have been a ragpicker or a vagabond, bore signs of a violent assault.
