Woman found dead in field in Bijnor, leopard attack or foul play suspected

Bijnor, Aug 3 (UNI) A 35-year-old woman, Alka Devi, was found dead under suspicious circumstances in a field near Manjhauli locality in Afzalgarh on Saturday evening.
The incident has sparked fear and outrage in the local community, with differing statements coming from police and forest department officials regarding the cause of death.
Alka Devi had gone to a nearby field to collect fodder for her cattle around 4 PM but did not return home. Her husband, Sunder Singh, and other villagers began a search and found her body near a mango orchard.
