Wolvaardt, Kaur laud de Klerk's match-winning knock

Visakhapatnam, Oct 9 (UNI) Both captains, Laura Wolvaardt and Harmanpreet Kaur, were united in their praise for Nadine de Klerk after the South African allrounder produced a match-winning masterclass to steer her side to a thrilling three-wicket victory over India in the ICC WWC ODI here today.
SA skipper Wolvaardt, visibly elated after the tense finish, said she was still lost for words" following de Klerk’s composed and powerful knock. "That was incredible. I have not seen something like that in my career. We found ourselves in a pickle, but we were always ahead of them and knew that one good partnership would win it for us," she said.
"She’s been hitting the ball like that in the nets. She batted really well with the lower order. Richa batted incredibly well for India — she’s one of the best batswomen at the death in the world and really tough to contain. Our pace bowlers also bowled really well, the ball came on nicely for them," Wolvaardt added.
