With camera traps, WII begins year-long study of wildlife movements along 12-km Delhi-Dehradun Expressway underpass

Dehradun, Apr 16 (UNI) After the long-awaited inauguration of the 213 km Dehradun-Delhi Expressway by the Prime Minister, the Wildlife Institute of India (WII) will take up the important task of studying wildlife movements along the 12 km stretch of the highway underpass that is Asia's largest Wildlife Corridor in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
According to the WII officials and widlife experts, the project will be a year long study on the 12 kilometers underpass of the Dehradun-Delhi Expressway which was the main highway prior to inauguration of the expressway corridor.
