Wipro launches MyWiproVerse Bengaluru

Bengaluru, Oct 8 (UNI) Wipro Commercial and Institutional Business (CIB) today inaugurated its MyWiproVerse Bengaluru, a state-of-the-art experience centre aimed at transforming workplace design through technology, ergonomics, and sustainability.
Each centre represents an investment of ₹35–40 lakh per experience centre, covering materials, product displays, and customised solutions tailored to businesses across sectors.
Speaking about the investment, Anuj Dhir, Wipro CIB, said, “For one particular complex, we invest around 35 to 40 lakh rupees, including materials and product display costs. Our solutions cater to everyone from small shops to large multinational corporations.”
Wipro CIB’s portfolio spans banks, insurance offices, IT offices, factories, pharma clean rooms, semiconductor manufacturing, solar and electric charging companies, and more. Since 2019, the company has expanded into clean room lighting, cold storage, and high-temperature 5G applications, offering end-to-end solutions.
The Bengaluru centre integrates IoT-enabled lighting systems, ergonomic seating, and energy-efficient solutions to enhance employee comfort and productivity. Proper lighting is designed to reduce eye strain and headaches, while ergonomic seating prevents back pain, thereby improving overall efficiency. The seating solutions are also available for home offices, with designs meant to last up to a decade.
Currently, Wipro CIB operates in Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, and Bengaluru, with plans to open experience centres in Kolkata, Delhi, and another city by March 2026. Each centre, developed in partnership with channel partners, showcases combined lighting and seating solutions for businesses.
Targeting double-digit growth in both lighting and seating markets—which are estimated at ₹6,000 crore and ₹4,000 crore, respectively—the company is expanding beyond metros to smaller cities such as Guwahati, Shillong, Rajkot, Tirunelveli, and Madurai through its dealer network.
While the launch highlights innovation and human-centric design, experts note that claimed benefits like enhanced productivity, employee well-being, and sustainability remain largely aspirational, with limited data to demonstrate measurable outcomes from previous centres. High-tech solutions may also face adoption challenges in cost-sensitive sectors, and broader environmental impacts of materials and system installations remain unaddressed.
Nonetheless, Wipro’s MyWiproVerse Bengaluru positions the company as a thought leader in workspace innovation, offering a collaborative and experiential model that could influence future design-led workplace transformations in India.
