Will work together with new Delhi govt to clean Yamuna: Union Minister

Chandigarh, Feb 12 (UNI) Union Jal Shakti Minister CR Patil on Wednesday said the Centre will work with the new BJP government in Delhi to clean the Yamuna river.
"After the formation of a new government in Delhi, Yamuna will be cleaned in the coming time and work will be done rapidly in this regard and we will work together to clean the Yamuna river." Patil told mediapersons here.
Asked about the allegations levelled by the outgoing AAP government of Delhi getting poisonous water from Haryana through the Yamuna river, the Minister said "I have been drinking Delhi water for the last 16 years and I am alive".
