Will leave no stone unturned to save precious lives: Jammu GMC Principal

Jammu, Jan 23 (UNI) In the backdrop of mysterious deaths in Badhaal village of Rajouri district, Principal, Government Medical College and Jammu, Dr Ashutosh Gupta on Thursday said that the medical fraternity of the institution will leave no stone unturned in saving precious lives.
"The whole medical fraternity of GMC Jammu including the faculty, paramedics and the administration is going beyond the ordinary in these extra ordinary times and will continue to stand rock solid with the public of Bhudhal and will leave no stone unturned to save precious lives," Dr Ashutosh Gupta clarified here in a statement.
Giving update on referral of three patients having mysterious illness from GMC Rajouri to GMC Jammu, Dr Gupta said, "GMC Jammu was intimated regarding airlifting of three children having signs and symptoms of mysterious illness from GMC Rajouri to GMC Jammu at about 6.30 PM. Further they were informed regarding the bed availability at PGIMER Chandigarh."

Srinagar, May 13 (UNI) In the first gunbattle after the Pahalgam massacre, three hardcore terrorists affiliated with Lashkar-e-Taiba were killed in an encounter with security forces in south Kashmir’s Shopian district, officials said on Tuesday.

Police identified the two slain as Shahid Kuttay and Adnan Shafi Dar, both residents of Shopian. The identity of the third militant is yet to be confirmed.
