West Indies batter Nicholas Pooran retires from international cricket

Trinidad, June 10 (UNI) Nicholas Pooran, West Indies highest ranked batter in the T20I Batting Rankings, has announced his international retirement.
The Trinidadian represented the West Indies 167 times for West Indies, scoring 1983 ODI runs at 39.66 at a strike rate of 99.15, and 2275 T20I runs, the most by a West Indies player, at a strike
rate of 136.39.

Roma sign forward Malen from Aston Villa

London, Jan 16 (UNI) Netherlands forward Donyell Malen has joined Roma from Aston Villa
after just one year with the Premier League side.
While Villa say the deal is for an undisclosed fee, a Roma statement says it is a loan with an option to buy.
According to BBC Sport, the 26-year-old scored 10 goals in 46 appearances for Villa after joining from Borussia Dortmund in January 2025.
