Mumbai's seven lakes hold 97.55 pc water stock after monsoon

Mumbai, Sep 17 (UNI) Mumbai's seven lakes, the main reservoirs supplying drinking water to the city, continued to maintain a strong reserve after the monsoon, with their combined useful water stock at 97.55 per cent as of 0600 hours on Thursday. According to the latest report of the Hydraulic Engineer's Department at the Bhandup Complex, the seven reservoirs together held 14,11,942 million litres (ML) of useful water against their total useful capacity of 14,47,363 ML.
