Stop demolishing homes of the poor: Aaditya Thackeray writes to Fadnavis

Mumbai, Sep 25 (UNI) Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena MLA from Worli Aaditya Thackeray has written to Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to stop the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation's (BMC) decision to bulldoze houses (1 1 structures of 14 feet and above) in slum areas. Earlier, the BMC announced a special demolition drive against extra constructions in the slum areas of the city from October 1 to December 31, 2026.
